I chose the angle I did because it showed a LOT of rope and shadows and I really wanted to get nice, bold lines and challenge myself with lots of odd shaped values/ shadows. I started with getting basic shapes down and then added value to everything and then got to bolding/ softening lines. Something I would change is worrying a little less about value and shading and adding more ropes/ details to make it more interesting to look at.
